Appointment and disappointments. Lungu is good at that. Appointments that do not bring any meaningful development. It seems the task of presidency is overwhelming for lungu who still cannot believe that he is president. Well 2016 mune you will be rested.

The good thing with Edgar Lungu is that he is now winding up in State house. I know Chawama people have been missing him in beer halls for the past 8 months since the death of His Excellence Micheal sata. But happiness should now be with them as he will be rejoining them soon after insulting the legacy of Micheal Sata.

Edgar Lungu please speed up the process of preparing handover lists. Time is up for u my dear.

Mwaiche wandi the right thing for you to do is to get a job on merit not through singing songs of praise for someone to notice you, so 2016 think before casting your vote wanvela,in fact that appointment means no progression for deserving hard working civil servants, loud mouthed cadres are slowly taking over all posts they are entitled to in their careers, imagine reporting to a cadre, vote UPND.

It is a good move unlike Katema, the minister of Chiefs who ensured that his old relative who is currently with ZRA gets the job at any cost with ZAFFICO.

He interfered with the whole process starting with shortlisting to selection of a candidate. Us as staff at ZAFFICO know that the relative who is over 50 years and apparently a spent dull force was not selected on merit.

This is another case of political appointments without merit. Being a party member does not qualify one to be a permanent secretary. I am not trying to hate on anyone finding a job, but what qualifies Patrick Mwanawasa as a PS? Are we simply going off of his last name? Is he a college/university graduate? What experience does he have as a manager, business owner, or financial planning? But who am I to judge…wish there was some thought process and justification for some of these things. This is why this system is so abused, the President can bring in whoever he wants, and that’s just foul.

T worry too much about a deputy ps,but when we tell u that we cant give HH the presidency he has zero experience when it comes to how govt is run,u say we are dull. This guy hh can only be a councillor or an mp.I wish EL can give him a ministerial position 4 him to gain experience

well lungu did promise that he would finish sata’s projects. In a sense, young patrick was sata’s project. When he joined pf he had not completed his law degree. Sata advised him to complete his education instead of standing as mp. Patrick chose to stand and lost the election and sata became president. Sata immedietely paid for the completion of this young man’s studies. During sata’s funeral, patrick thanked king cobra’s gesture. Very intelligent young man. Like father like son. Iyi ni Bwele ba lungu.
