The United Party for National Development has vowed to go ahead with countrywide constitution protests this week with or without Police permission.UPND
Protests organizing team Spokesperson Chisankama Mudenda says the party yesterday applied for a Police permit with the view of being allowed to protest this Friday, 15th May.
Mr. Mudenda who is also UPND Lubwa Ward Youth Chairperson has told Qfm News that to this effect his party has engaged private security companies to handle security issues during the protests.
He says the party is determined to protest with or without a Police permit being granted because it finds government’s plan to table non contentious clauses of the final draft constitution when Parliament resumes sitting unacceptable.

The tide of change is here. You can fool some people some times but you cannot fool all the people all the time. Indeed we the UPND have sacrificed and are prepared to provide and pay for private security as it seems the pf government uses security issues as a reason not to grant permits. Hey we thought you just got a security loan from china, so you should have the manpower to police this demonstration. VIVA UPND VIVA HH. we are behind you. NEZ blogging live from portugal upnd centre.

Police please do your job, arrest and beat all citizens with unruly behaviour for once. What UPND is trying to do is breach of the country security. This is what happens with empty tins.

Aba ba pushi do surprise me mweeee!!! At the start of issues, when Sata was constituting the constitution review committee, they never wanted to hear of it. Now they bare their arsses & nipples to be at the high table? Idiets!! The lot of them. Let them go ahead, it will be a upnd issue, who cares? All we know is they can howl as much as they can (like a coyote at the full moon) but the moon won’t come down for them.

UPND should be the last part to fight for the constitution. They failed us when they joined NCC. Further they have failed to respect their own constitution. Let them go for convention if they care about a constitution

Let them demonstrate after all it is their right to do so. But they shouldn’t do any thing stupid if they do let the law take it’s course. PF lets see how far they will go with it since they have got nothing to do but to go in the streets walking aimlessly while EL is busy looking for solutions how to feed them the ungrateful idiots who does not care about other people’s feelings. Just doing things in the name of tufilile musenga bakabwa. Go ahead and your conscious will kill.
