South African Actress Pоses Naked In Protest Against Xenophobia
Sodela has acted in SABC 1 drama Ihawu Lesizwe as the character Rebecca, she also has made appearances in a few Mzansi Magic movies and will be seen in upcoming eTV Ekasi Our stories productions.
Sodela who calls herself an anti- xenophobia activist posted a picture of herself semi naked, holding a “No to xenophobia” sign on her Facebook page.
The picture was captioned:
“Our Blood &Skin is the same,lets let other diversity to experience the so called Democray the Freedom Iam an artist and against Xenophobia #STOP_XENOPHOBIA”
Sodela is not the first person to pose naked as a form of protest. PETA activist do this a lot with their “I’d rather go naked then wear fur” campaigns.
International supermodel Irina Shayk, former girlfriend of footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, once posed semi naked for the “Bring Back Our Girls” campaign.
That did not end well. People slammed her for being disrespectful and tasteless.
