SAD:Three People Die In Road Accident
A Teacher of Nakonde Secondary School, along with two others, has died in a road traffic accident on Nakonde-Isoka road after the vehicle they were travelling in careered off the road due to a tyre burst, Muchinga Province commissioner of police Auxensio Daka has said.
Mr Daka said in an interview yesterday that the accident happened on Saturday around 15: 40 hours about three kilometres after the Isoka T- junction.
He named the dead teacher as Kaluba Mutanda while two others are yet to be identified
“Ms Mutanda with two others died on the spot. The lady is said to have been travelling from Nakonde to Kasama while the man also believed to be a teacher was travelling to Mulilansolo in Chinsali district,’’ Mr Daka said.
He said the driver identified as Tryson Sikazwe, 47, a teacher of Ilelendele Primary School and two others sustained minor injuries and are receiving treatment at Isoka District Hospital.

We in the UPND would like to convey our sincere condolences to the families of the deceased and the school. It is a huge loss when we lose children who would be future leaders. Also, losing a vocational person such as a teacher is a huge blow to our aims to achieve an ignorant free zambia. It saddens me that the PF government is still not doing much to road worthy cars on roads and regulating driving. They claim to be building more roads, weirdly enough there are more accidents. It means that something is not right somwhere. Very sad
