Chieftainess Choongo Pledges To Support PF Govt If They Deliver New Constitution
Chieftainess Choongo of the Tonga people in southern province says her subjects will only support the leadership of President Edgar Lungu if he delivers a people driven constitution.
Chieftainess Chongo says Zambians need a constitution that will stand a taste of time.
Chieftainess Chongo notes that it will be fair if President Lungu lives up to his promise to deliver a constitution before the 2016 general elections.
She states that so far President Edgar Lungu has shown leadership by calling on traditional leaders to dialogue with him on issues affecting the people in their respective chiefdoms which she says is a step in the right direction.
The traditional leader says President Lungu should go further and consult the traditional leadership and hear their views on the need for the country to have a people driven constitution.

If you hear what this Chieftainess like all other Chiefs from SP, they say the PF must deliver the People driven Constitution. Which one is the people’s constitution? The people have included the clause that land should be in the control of government. It is on record that Chiefs have rejected this draft with the land clause. So which one is the “People driven Constitution”?

suport with conditions attached is not suport at all. much as we need your vote PF has won and will win without your vote. if you belv in a constituition tell your HH to go for election
