Captain Fantastic Katongo Joins Buffaloes, Eyes Chipolopolo Return
The 2012 BBC African Footballer of the Year and Zambia’s AFCON winning skipper Chris Katongo has commenced training with Green Buffaloes and is set to take to Zambian league action when the 2015 season resumes after the coming mid-season break, Zambian Football KICKOFF can reveal.
Katongo, recently released by PSL Bidvest Wits, has set his sights on returning to full-match fitness after overcoming a knee injury which restricted his playing time at Bidvest.
He remains optimistic that he could also help the national team and encourage rising Chipolopolo stars by being part of the squad in the final round of CHAN2016 qualifiers as well as 2017 AFCON qualifiers.
Katongo was dropped by ex- acting coach Honour Janza and missed AFCON2015 but the player, who remains one of the best in terms of national team scorers’ with Collins Mbesuma over the last decade, reckons the new coach will give him an opportunity to feature in some games before calling time on a successful international career.

Guys, lets learn something from chris. Adultery can distabilise your life. Cheating your spouse looks good and it can be enjoyable but remember how much that is hated by heaven.
