A 32-YEAR-OLD male nurse of Lundazi District Hospital has died after the ambulance he was travelling on hit into a stationary vehicle on the Lundazi-Chipata road.
Eastern Province deputy commissioner of police Patrick Bili said the accident happened around 18:50 hours on Friday near Kakumbi village in Lundazi.
Mr Bili said the Toyota Land Cruiser, which was being driven by Geoffrey Banda, 42, of Dunda township of Lundazi, rammed into a TATA truck, which was parked on the road.

The chipata – lundazi road is perfect and no fool should say due to PF not managing roads. I used it last December during my holidays. MHSRIP

Problem is that most Zamabian drivers are blind as a bat, not all but most drivers have never had an EYE TEST. How can anyone WITH GOOD EYES crash HIS MOVING CAR into a stationary vehicle?
No wonder Your Zambian drivers licence is useless in EU countries.

Too bad life has been lost due to Carelessness by th driver. There’s something that could have distracted his mind not to have spotted a big truck infront mhsrip.. @nez..

No what distracted him was not what was on the road but what he left home, poverty! I guess he was thinking of how to pay inkongole and feeding his family misery brought upon by PF Govt. You see. Signing off NES in Amsterdam! Or Afghanistan!

Standards of vision for driving in UK
You must be able to read (with glasses or contact lenses, if necessary) a car number plate made after 1 September 2001 from 20 metres.
You must also meet the minimum eyesight standard for driving by having a visual acuity of at least decimal 0.5 (6/12) measured on the Snellen scale (with glasses or contact lenses, if necessary) using both eyes together or, if you have sight in one eye only, in that eye.
You must also have an adequate field of vision – your optician can tell you about this and do a test.
Driving eyesight rules
You must wear glasses or contact lenses every time you drive if you need them to meet the ‘standards of vision for driving’.
You must tell DVLA if you’ve got any problem with your eyesight that affects both of your eyes, or the remaining eye if you only have one eye.
This does n’t include being short or long sighted or colour blind. You also d o n’t need to say if you’ve had surgery to correct short sightedness and can meet the eyesight standards.

IN UK
At the start of your practical driving test you have to correctly read a number plate on a parked vehicle.
If you c a n’t, you’ll fail your driving test and the test w o n’t continue. DVLA will be told and your licence will be revoked.

What i believe & know is that death my friends doesn’t knock or say oddini? For those of you who are saying no the road is perfect, ah he was a useless driver be careful my dear; it will catch you by surprise. Have you ever ready in the bible how Uriah died? He carried his own death. So if you think you know how you will die then go ahead talking anyhow. May God comfort the family behind.
