Govt Disappointed With Misinformation On Load Shedding

Government is disappointed that some sections of the media and opposition political parties are politicizing the natural calamity which has resulted in increased load shedding in the country.
Chief Government Spokesperson Chishimba Kambwili says the low water levels at Kariba Dam has nothing to do with policies implemented by the PF government as some politicians are suggesting.
Mr. Kambwili says politicians politicking on the whole issue of load shedding are misleading the people.
He says Government has since decided to take all Members of Parliament to Kariba Dam and Kafue Gorge to see for themselves the low water levels which has led ZESCO to start rationing power in the country.
Mr Kambwili adds that government will also engage other politicians to make them understand what is really happening so that they can make comments from an informed point of view.

Stupid and foolish government. Chi Chishimba Kambwili is about to be replaced by Dora Siliya.

Edgar Lungu has now sidelined you Siliya.

No one is disputing low waters levels, what we are saying is there are other alternative sources of energy which should have been promoted yesterday. If cabinet is going to be stuck with the issue of low water levels, this country is headed for economic doom. I hope you understand Hon. Kambwili.

LIARS SHOULD HAVE GOOD MEMORIES!…I thought the reason election results delayed to be announced last year was due to heavy rains caused by mother nature? And now? Load shedding is due to low water levels? Something is not adding up

The problem with Kambwili is that he was a todler when we had serious drought in 1992 and 1994, yet there was no load shedding like we are experiencing today. Kambwili you are govt spokesman go and research. People are not complaining from without, they know what they are saying ask Nawakwi although you insult her whenever she reminds you. I even wonder how you obtained your degree from that komboni university.

Can you compare the industrial and domestic consumption of power in 1992 to date. That’s why you are backward thinking.

Foolish idiots. The people that should be disappointed are the citizens who are suffering because of your poor governance and management of issues. How insulting can you be to throw the blame back to the electorate. PF is sleeping bane. We humbly ask you to vote upnd in 2016. let us make zambia great in 2016. The change in your vote won’t unseat pf. You can add another 1000 votes still pf will carry the day. Reason is simple tongas alone can’t make a tribal leader win an election.

Well, its not about whether there is rain water or not. Its about a govt that can find alternatives to the problem. If u take the MPs to Kariba, so what? Just find a way of harnessing other sources of energy and settle the dust not ukulilila imfula. Imfula tayaliko naku Botswana even Zim. Bushe nako kuli loadshedding?
