ACC Still Assessing RB’s Acquittal -Wina
Vice President Inonge Wina says the Anti Corruption Commission -ACC- is still assessing Former President Rupiah Banda’s acquittal.
Mrs. Wina says government will wait for the response from the Commission before stating its position on the restoration of Mr. Banda’s immunity.
She told Parliament on Friday that the ACC is an independent body which will be allowed to operate freely.
The Vice President was responding to a question raised in Parliament Last Friday by Chadiza MP Allan Mbewe who wanted to know when Government will restore the Immunity of Former President Rupiah Banda.
And Mrs. Wina says government will soon state its position regarding the importation of alleged toxic copper concentrates by Konkola Copper Mine from Chile.

The irony is that the PF vice president states that the ACC is an independent body. And yet she makes that pronouncement on the behalf of the same so called “independent” body. kiki awe kwena pf is a joke bane. How can the ACC be independent when the ACC act itself is not independent of the executive.Until these bodies are created based on constitutions that give them utter independence, we will not have free and fair trials in zambia. The same goes for the ECZ. That is why lungu was able to claim he slightly won the elections. Vote UPND bane

NEZ i guess you’ve forgotten Zambian real revolutions. Change of govt will only happen in 2021, not 2016. I wonder if HH will still stand in 2021. A recap of the revolutions; 1991 Chiluba misrule + 10yr = 2001(Mazoka though Mwanawasa stole his victory through Chiluba’s dribbling, Chiluba knew Mazoka would persecute him that’s why he did that, luckily Mwanasawa rose to the occasion) + 10yr = 2011 Sata + 10yrs = 2021. Not to bore you with my rambling, real revolutions in Zambian scenario only takes place after 10 Years. For now you can bark & bark but next year things wont change

I’m glad there are no isults but a free flowing matured debate from bloggers exept that NEZ is disappointing me these days.
