ZAM Welcomes General Kanene

Pardoned convicted child defiler musician Clifford Dimba alias General Kanene has promised not to let President Edgar Lungu down.
Speaking to Journalists at Kabwe’s Mukobeko Maximum Security Prison yesterday after receiving a presidential pardon, Dimba who was serving an 18 year sentence with hard labour for defiling a 14 year old girl said he is honored to be made the President’s ambassador in the fight against defilement.
He said he has experienced prison the hard way, advising people to avoid prison because it is a bad place.
And the Zambia Association of Musicians (ZAM) has welcomed the pardoning of Dimba by President Lungu.
ZAM President Njoya Tembo has told QFM News in Kabwe that musicians are excited to see their own walk to freedom.
Tembo was however quick to advise Dimba not to forget the task the Head of State has given him saying he should be active in the fight against defilement.
Tembo says Dimba should not neglect the task given to him but should strive to fight all negative vices through music and actual works.

    His first and foremost task is to come up with a song denouncing the opposition and praising edgar lungu, and to pledge his unwavering support, performance at all pf functions and meetings without pay, especially in Southern Province……………….

    Check this out! ichi nacheve chili nayo! I guess that kind of lyrics will never again appear on your scrap notepad. My worry is that all his songs will now be “Alungu ni wa bwino…” crap! He will lose part of his fans as it will be obvious its PF and Lungu praises all the way. Even when he sings against defilement its to please aLungu… 🙁 kaya.

    ok happy for the guy but one question for Njoya T.
    when pilato was harassed you turned your back on him. when he won his case you were silent. GK gets out and you receive him with open arms. is pilato not one of your own or do you just consider artistes who are pro GOV? its a bit hypocritical to me especially coming from a gospel artiste. just asking…..

    Lungu knows that he is not popular. the threat of pilato also has scared him alot. Therefore, he has decided to realise this general guy inorder to have a famous act behind him.However, he does not realise that his time is up. Matter of fact lungu come 2016 you will be arrested for mismanagement of this country and abbrogating the constitution.

    Please let us just embrass him you the girl was not 14 as claimed, but he has learnt it the had way I like g kanen no matter what. my advise to him is to be nice to his wife

    Kanene did not defile anyone. that girl was already defiled. she had a baby. he just boobed when he sang the kasapato kamwana song.
