GBM Refuses To Relinquish Seat
UPND Vice President Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba says he will not relinquish his Kasama Central parliamentary seat following his move to join the opposition UPND.
Mr. Mwamba told a media briefing in Lusaka yestereday that for as long as opposition MPs working with the PF government do not quit their parliamentary seats, he will also not relinquish his position.
Mr. Mwamba, popularly known as GBM, says there a number of UPND and MMD MPs who are currently working with the PF even campaigning for the ruling party and that he sees nothing wrong with him working with the UPND while still remaining a PF MP.

Mr speaker those 3 MPs referred to by jsck Muumbu are working in Government not PF. There is a big difference between working in govt and a party. All MPs are party of Govt’s wing the legislature. GBM has joined UPND while those 3 MPs from UPND are working in Govt as mimister. someone can be UPND and work in this govt but a UPND cant have a post in PF. so mr speaker pass s ruling sir

Elyo how do we know that he will deliver Northern to UPND if he fears mock exams. The problem in Zambia is that we like supoting foolishness. If GBM is a big stone as he & UPND brag it, let him face the voter who gave him the sit. In 2010 Charles Milupi formed ADD & we had a by election in Luena Constituence of Limulunga District, he was un independent MP before forming ADD. Milupi proved his manwood & won the sit. Pipo we shoul be reading the constitution befor selling out our ignorance & foolishness. Is it that GBM & his supoters knows that he cant win it again? Sorry.
