Motorist Complain Of Hiked Toilet Fees

Dear Editor,

Kindly publish this complaint so that my fellow Zambians can know, and possibly, government intervene. On 2nd Sep, 2015 Wed, I left Senanga for Lusaka at 19 00 hours by Kashuwa bus. I arrived at Nalusanga Checkpoint at 03 10 hours. As usual, I disembarked from the bus with the other passengers to answer the call of nature.

To my surprise, passengers were being charged k2.00 instead of the usually k1.00.They have hiked the charges by 100%.I feel it is unfair to the already suffering People because this country belongs to us-it is our land.Others travel with families to attend funerals.

Moreover, human beings have no control over nature. It is inhuman to charge someone for answering the call of nature. If the government cares,I expect the charges to revert to k1.00.I know the money is important for maintenance costs but it is not normal to hike by 100%.

From a concerned motorist

You are the same person who would complain if the toilets are dirty. That money is used to clean the toilets and to pay the nyamazai.

No wonder these pf 2 kwachas look so soiled, they were specifically printed for kunya business, everything under PF is going up, just buckle up boys and girls, ladies and gentlemen, 2016 think and vote wisely.

A price hike of anything can never be 100 percent unless we have hyper inflation

    Bane muleumfwako uluse!!
Truly, as @Id!ot says, you eat monga nivi gayo when travelling, you sh!t in a clean toilet and they give you tissue to wipe your arses, soap to wash your hands so that you can continue to eat elo ulekomplena? Drivers, plz stop at some bush so that aleshindila kumaballs leaves uyu mumbwe.
In TZ, the kunya and sunda fees are part of the food bills. We can’t do that in ZM coz mulasendela icibwantu, umunkoyo, ifimbala nokushitila pawindow ifyakulya. So deal with your shiiit.
