Republican President Edgar Lungu says he wants to bring a difference in the way politics are being done in the country.
Speaking when he met Chiefs from southern province at Sinazeze primary school in Sinazongwe district this morning, President Lungu says unlike some politicians who want power to enrich themselves, he wants to serve the people because leaders are servants of the people.
President Lungu says he wants to ensure that the lives of the people of Zambia are improved so that the people can have a sense of belonging.
He says currently, there is a lot of talk, but urged the traditional leaders not to have sleepless nights as a result of this talk because those talking are merely politicking.
President Lungu has further reiterated his desire to reduce the high levels of poverty in the country.
And speaking on behalf of the chiefs, Chief Singani urged President Lungu to continue developing the nation stressing that they are aware that development cannot happen in a day.
The traditional leader says Chiefs in southern province are grateful for the appointment of Sinazongwe Member of Parliament Richwell Siamunene as defence minister.
Traditional leaders present included Chief Mukuni, Chief Chipepo, Chief Sinazongwe and Chief Sindaba.
The president is in district to commission works on the bottom road.
That’s my president. Owez preaching love & peace. No insults.
Really wonder if this trash of a semblance of a president is normal! All the nonsensical political episodes such as shootings, name calling,witch-hunting,lies,corruption,nepotism,crushing them like a brick crushing machine, harassing & intimidating political perceived rivalries & unjustified arrests of opposition leaders & many more diabolical inhumane activities is what he calls fimofimo- stupid primitive creature! No wonder Zambia is being cursed under his era,too much hypocrisy & God has given Zambia his back!
You sound so bitter. Did you eat anything today? Edgar is not responsible for putting a meal on your table. All he can do is improve infrastructure and create opportunities.
AAAAA MWEBOO HMM MU ZAMBIA? KAYA
Chauvinistic political fools, you have messed this country, there is just too much tribal and political hate ever since you took over from MMD.
Mr Lungu sir all we want is fix the bloody economy stop circumventing serious issues.
The PF is using Charles Dawin’s theory, survival of the fitest, only finacial heavy weights will survive & direct beneficiaries like cadres who are paid.
Too late lungu. You had a chance. This is not time to start politicking. The people will judge you on their situation on the ground. Viva upnd
Iwe Lungu-you have completely failed.Even your wife knows that fact. What change can you bring apart from promoting corruption with chi RB. Thats why even your party is being led by empty charlatans in the name of Chama and Mumbi. Just shut up if you have nbothing better to say and continue drinking Jameson. There’s no change that you can bring
PF failure is only felt in the opposition’s toilets as majority Zambians are very much in support of PF and president Lungu!!this is how a president must be,always preaching peace, love for one another and spearheading development across Zambia!!THE OPPOSITION ARE IN FOR IT AS COME 2016,THEY WILL HAVE NOTHING TO CAMPAIGN ABOUT BCOZ HARD WORKING PF IS FAR AHEAD OF THEM!!MAY GOD CONTINUE BLESSING PRESIDENT LUNGU AND ZAMBIA!!
Hey eddy lungu heard you are also blogging pa tumfweko kiki how is state house
Iwe have respect for the of state. If I talk like that about a heard of a political party thru heritage, you ll mourn.
kiki talk like what about a “heard” of a political party?
Upnd cadres insisting they are in this group to help us change our minds about ECL but my surprise is that wen we post pics of kasaka they are quick to insult and call names but wen it comes to real debate about tha economy and their vision everyone goes mute.they call us dull but iv neva heard any upnd cadre tell us what tha they will do to stop loadsheding or what is needed to stabilise tha kwacha.so I wonder do they blindly follow kasaka becoz his rich or becoz they are his tribes men
how possible is it that the President can change the politics of this country and stop the suffering of the poor when he flies all over the world and even in his own country he uses a helicopter to get from province to province. He has a huge cabinet, moves with half the ministers wherever he goes, his wife is going around campaigning for him at a high cost for her allowances and a high fee for her entourage????? come on do they think all Zambians are illeterate?
Ask them my dear. They taking Zambians for a ride. Do not worry yourself too much as their days are numbered. Concentrate on making sure your voters card ready

what method is he going to bring load shading to normal levels.
how is he going to bring dollar to 3.5/$
Let’s work hard as Zambians. There’s much to do as opposed to politicking. Most of these politicians that we are looking up to have the same mission – to maintain their status or to gain more from poor Zambians! Just observe how much they invest in campaigns to gain power.!

Sorry Baba Lungu its too late for such statements
what zambia needs is
1.To save our deteriorating economy
2.A new constitution before elections
3 fresh brains to drive things forward
……….and only HH has the qualities to do that…..NOT ECL.
He has already proved he is incapable. These bloggers who support ECL will soon realise they are alone.
The mood on the ground is different.
I never voted in the last elections but I am more determined to vote FOR HH.
takuli ba PF kuya bebele fye. what can he say ECL what physical structure can he show. Man of visionless. if they will win next election, it is because they have rigged which they benefit and pay more money to those riggers.
Time wasters Abena lungu
Ba Lungu KUWAYAWAYA FYE………Its just a matter of time before everyone begins to loath this man.
This coming season I am voting serious. I never voted in the last elections, but now I am more determined to VOTE FOR HH

tribe tribe eyes can see ears can hear and nose can smel. lets be realistic give where its due and condemn at the right time here some blogers never give praise always condemn and insult voters and you expect them to vote for your choice change the style or get nop votes
i hate politics of hate and insults look at war torn countries thats results of hate insults and greedy i wish all zambian to refrain the hate compaigns. god knows who ll win period
HH was in the for front to privatize our mines and other parastatal companies which lead to the so many of our people to loose their jobs and eventual deaths, we lost so many people in the process.but now he want to pretend to be an Angel of life but he is not, he is an Angel of death we will not forget the misery our people passed through.if he was a visionary leader as he claim why didn’t he advise the then government not to go on with the privatization, because it killed our people, mind you he was a technocrat but today he want to hoodwink some week souls to vote for him.
The fact is to work hard and put food on table, thats the best we can do than spending our time suporting this masters we have:( no presidentiol material as at know:)
