MMD Demands Withdrawal Of RB’s Presidential Benefits
The opposition MMD has demanded the withdrawal of the benefits enjoyed by former Presidents from former President Rupiah Banda for his continued engagement in active politics.
MMD National Secretary Mwansa Mbulakulima in a statement made available to QFM News says Mr Banda has clearly and openly demonstrated that he can break the law with impunity since the January 2015 presidential by-election by campaigning for the PF.
Mr Mbulakulima says as a party they are disappointed that they have continued grappling with the misconduct ofRB Court the former Head of State who in the right sense should have been chief advisor to the party that raised him to the top most position in the land.
He says the MMD has since called an emergency meeting of the National Executive Committee scheduled for this month end to deal with the issue of Mr Banda.
Mr Mbulakulima says the former ruling party is disappointed and disgusted that although Mr Banda has claims to belong to MMD,he has continued to campaigning for the PF since January 2015.
He wonders how the former president can campaign for another political party without resigning his membership of the MMD.
Mr Mbulakulima adds that it is disappointing that Mr Banda has reduced himself to a PF cadre by campaigning in the Solwezi west parliamentary by-election instead of being a statesman and national advisor to all parties as a gift to the Zambian people.

Sata was one of the biggest criminal. Mbulakulima and Sata worked at ZSIC and were petty thieves. Messed up Avondale Housing company. Sata sold houses to his girlfriends, relatives and to himself. Mbulakulima used to eat from Zamsure soccer team. Know your facts before opening your mouth. Post newspaper uttered a lot of rubbish against RB and fools believed it. Intermediation is a world wide recognised practice and this is what HH did for privatisation and made billions. This is what Valentine Chitalu did. This is what I did to make my billions. Jealous blabbers keep blabbering.

What is active politics. He is only found in the company of politicians. Nothing wrong to campaign with pf. Gbm a pf member and upnd veep is equally campaigning for upnd.

the law is very clear, No benefits for an ex president who is engaged in active politics. Any sensible person will not argue abt this. The oblm with Zambian opposition parties and NGO too much talk but no action coz by now they should have blocked the benefits.
After all his son just bought a flat at $7 million in jhb and was boosting we are back in business.

ba RB mocked Chagwa walking stick when he thought he was going to stand on MMD ticket, he made a political somersault after losing da case en supported EL whom he mocked in the few hours he was illegally re-installed as party president. one Politician said in politics,there er no enemies which I highly doubt but what is very true is politicians have no morals, only practicing politics of da belly or to fix someone.
