Pope Francis Met Gay Couple at Vatican Embassy in US

Pope Francis had a private meeting with a gay couple last week in Washington.

A former student of his, Yayo Grassi, told the BBC the Pope agreed to meet him to “give him a hug”.

Mr Grassi and his boyfriend Iwan were received at the Vatican Embassy where they discussed his business but did not discuss gay issues.

Earlier this week it emerged that the pontiff met Kim Davis, the Kentucky clerk who refused to issue marriage licences to gay couples.

That news was greeted with anger by many liberals and gay campaigners in the US.

Mr Grassi said he asked Pope Francis for an audience when he found out he was coming to the US and the pontiff agreed, saying he wanted to give him a hug.

During their meeting, they caught up on each other’s lives and Pope Francis asked him about his business, a catering company in Washington.

“Just two friends meeting after a long time,” said Mr Grassi. “We didn’t talk about gay issues or anything like that.”

The Vatican confirmed the meeting took place and added: “The Pope, as pastor, has maintained many personal relationships with people in a spirit of kindness, welcome and dialogue.”

    Gay leaders supporting their hidden agendas. They hold very high offices and they influence change. This is happening now that these satanists are well positioned to influence change. ” they were born from Gay parents” and they see it normal to infect this madness to normal men and women through human rights. Hiding through the bible as a front when in fact they are gay . They are now forcing African weak countries to implement these satanic gay marriages claiming as human rights. African presidents must make it clear to these sick leaders of the world , NO GAY MARRIAGES OR ACTIVITIES IN OUR AFRICAN COUNTRIES. The president of Kenya refused to be drugged by Obama , and president of Zimbabwe has made it even more clear at the centre of the house of Dome. Hiding through human rights to poison countries that are members. What a shame. Where in the Ten Commandments of GOD is there gay marriages allowed? Sick leaders with power to corrupt are in play. These must be resisted. No gay couple can conceive a child never, only through the normal God given gift, Man and Woman. Anything else is un holy and an abomination.

    Kiki and some Zambians are so anti gay based on their Christian belief. Meanwhile the man you look up to is busy meeting gay people. Bane the world is changing. We in upnd know that majority of Zambians are anti gay. However what we plan to do is to ensure that the gays are not killed or victimised. Let the law take its course with them where one has proof.

    Bible prophesys are being fufiled.When Jesus talked of the signs of his return, He maintioned deadly diseases, wars, famine etc. In the books of Daniel and Revelation, the bible tells us that (Satan’s agent)Pope will try to change God’s law by implementing the Sunday Law.This is the reason he is frequently going to US to discuss devilish acts’ gayism,lesbianism etc and how to strengthen Dollar above all currencies so that other countries start following their satanic ideas and doctrines. I urge you all fellow Christians to worship God truth and spirit. Let’s keep the Laws of God.

    @Kalikonya,

    Do not judge so that you too are not judged. Your hate for Catholics is historical and baseless, we know especially you the Sunday Dodgers Association. From Churches must be founded on love and not hate. You have passed on hatred for other firths especially Catholics to your young ones and after many years still keep this hatred. Just trace the roots of your church and how its started. Its your choice if you want to worship on a particular day go ahead we have no issues may be you are practicing Judaism. That’s why may be you are called Adventist because you may be still waiting for messiah. Because of fear of criticism you change to mean second coming. Just follow how your church started. Catholics are a mature Christian faith. If we have to use all our mighty to defend ourselves it would lead to religious wars.

    An estimated 90% of able bodied Zambian citizens are engaged only in informal work. Put differently, less than a million Zambians have a formal job. The Kariba hydro dam was built between 1955 and 1959 when Zambia’s population was less than 4 million. President Lungu and majority of his cabinet colleagues were not even born when that electricity project was initiated. These problems were not created by Lungu, therefore to suggest that Lungu is responsible is absolute BS. This is why Zambia is in such a state because it’s so called learned people are failing to analyse issues properly. As we speak the Nigeria naira has slumped not because of corruption but the falling prices of oil.

    Patriot;
    Pray to God for the power of the Holy Spirit so that you have your ayes opened. Bible prophesies are no history. The prophecy of Jesus dying for mankind was fulfied when he came the first time.The prophecy of Jesus’ eminent return and its signs is sure. A lot of true Christians were murdered after Jesus’ Ascension to Heaven. Even now Satan can still persecute those who are truely following Jesus through his agents.

    The article has explained clearly that no gay issues were discussed, so what is wrong with hugging such people? Are u righteous yourselves to be condemning the Pope for maintaining many personal relationships with people in a spirit of kindness, welcome and dialogue.”?
