PF Should Support President Lungu –Katele

Former MMD national secretary Katele Kalumba has appealed to PF members to remain united and continue supporting President Lungu and his development agenda.
Dr Kalumba said with everyone’s support, the nation will overcome the economic challenges it is facing.
Speaking in a telephone interview from Chienge yesterday, Dr Kalumba said it is imperative that the PF remains united and keep its nationalistic character.
Dr Kalumba, who once served as Minister of Finance in former President Chiluba’s administration, said PF is a national and non-discriminatory party and it must remain so.
“PF must not fall prey to rumours. Unity is key and the economic challenges this country is facing are solvable with a unity of purpose,” he said.
Dr Kalumba said PF must reject some members’ ambitions to drive a hegemonic agenda because the ruling party embraces everyone from all parts of the country.
“I am aware that there are some people in the PF who are trying to undermine President Lungu and they know that the state is aware of their machinations. But what is key is for the PF members to continue supporting the President even as we head towards elections,” he said.
Meanwhile, PF national mobilisation committee chairperson Nigel Mpakateni has said President Lungu has the impetus to improve the lives of Zambians and must therefore be supported by everyone.
Mr Mpakateni, in a statement issued yesterday, said it is clear that President Lungu has a heart for Zambians as can be seen from his economic and development initiatives.
Mr Mpakateni said in the few months President Lungu has been in power, the country has developed remarkably.
“The PF government under President Lungu has improved the road network by more than 75 percent. And this has already started improving the living standards of people living in rural and urban areas,” Mr Mpakateni said.
He said the PF national mobilisation team will continue marshalling support for President Lungu so that he is voted for in 2016, thereby guaranteeing continuity of developmental projects.
Mr Mpakateni said even the United Nations has recognised President Lungu’s leadership by inviting him to the just-ended general assembly.
“It is within the noble cause of democracy that our President is inculcating to this nation a culture of service and servant leadership,” he said”.
Mr Mpakateni said it is time Zambians got united and rallied behind President Lungu as he is looking for solutions to the many challenges facing the nation.

Our position over this issue is that God is sovereign to the one who declares such a day and that we are all his creation and cannot do without God, Zambia needs to look up to God for every situation,” he said.

We all know PF is exploding from within, not all in PF loves Edgar more so he marginalized a lot of members especially founding members then he pitched up a tent to share with the likes of abena Kambwili! So Kalumba should just shut the phuck up and just join them silently. We are tired of praise and worship teams… wait by Thursday we shall hear from that other foolish chap Tayali with his now weekly praises of Edgar…wait.

Get lost, all you do is spend time on this site trying to sound like you are the custodian of wisdom. You are such a bore. An attention seeking cow. NEZ is original in that that’s what he has always been. You at one time confessed to hyave been a PF cadre and only changed when they never gave you the crumbs you wished for. I have ver been PF and will never be.

Exposure of inherent hatred, and with such comments one wonders the level of education, maturity and analytical thinking, as the comments become a total waste of space and people’s time.

A good illustration of Stereotyped perception based on just one characteristic, though the characteristic itself is divinely true. People need to consider various other attributes as well of a good leader, as some may lack the knowledge, intellect, wisdom, vision, exposure, experience, ability to govern, etc.

That is a good illustration of Stereotyped perception based on just one characteristic, though the characteristic itself is divinely true. Note that not every apparent God fearing man may make a good and successful leader.

People need to consider various other attributes as well of a good leader, as some may lack the knowledge, intellect, wisdom, vision, exposure, experience, ability to govern, etc.

Pillar, open your cadre eyes and see that your president’s incompetence brought all these problems Zambia is faced with currently. If you think God will come down to sort them for Chagwa, when he himself doesn’t want/ knows what to do to offer solutions then continue living on wishful thinking!
