Ms Lerato Pitso, recently cried out that she has been suffering in the hands of a lot of men because of her big stuffs. In her words: “At one state I wanted to commit suicide.”

Ephraim Shakafuswa resigns from UPND.
UPND social media campaigner Ephraim Shakafuswa has resigned from the party.
Shakafuswa’s resignation is not a surprise after President Hakainde Hichilema censured him for leaking a recorded phone conversation in which the two are debating various party issues. Shakafuswa has also been accused of leaking another audio recording purported to be a phone conversation between him and Brian Hapunda.

While UPND has widely condemned infrastructural projects being undertaken by the PF government as costly venture, there promises in various sectors suggest the opposite. They condemn construction of hospitals but promise to take services close to the people (how?); they promise to provide free education but condemn construction of universities, secondary schools and primary schools; they condemn the state of roads but condemn roads construction projects (how?); they want to create a conducive environment to boost agriculture and tourism without improving roads and linking up the country (how?). On the contrary the PF government recognises the important role these roads will play in boosting Zambia’s economy. Government further recognises that we have been spending so much money hiring foreign contractors to undertake infrastructural development projects. This has been benefiting foreign companies that have been expanding their business in their countries of origin with the money earned from Zambia. Apart from the actual infrastructural products we get, we have not been maximizing the benefits from these infrastructural investments. Government has started implementing an ambitious initiative of rebranding, expanding and equipping ZNS so that they handle the majority of infrastructural projects in Zambia
