Nevers: No Need For Conditions To Attend National Prayer
MMD President Nevers Mumba says he does not think there is need for anyone to attach conditions for participating in the national prayer and fasting scheduled for the 18th October.
Dr. Mumba says if a prayer meeting is called, such as the one President Edgar Lungu has called, it is up to an individual to attend or not.
Dr. Mumba has told Qfm News that this is why he thinks there is no need to make a big deal out of the declaration of the national day of prayer and fasting by President Lungu.
He has however, disclosed that his party will this week on Friday, 9th October discuss the issue more comprehensively by considering the demerits and merits for having such a national prayer.
Dr. Mumba states that his party wants to build a case that will help address not only the single issue of national prayer.
He notes that as party whose interest is to highlight the role of God in governance, the MMD is particularly happy that it has been given this opportunity to deal with a subject that is of concern to it.

UPND social media campaigner Ephraim Shakafuswa has resigned from the party.
Shakafuswa’s resignation is not a surprise after President Hakainde Hichilema censured him for leaking a recorded phone conversation in which the two are debating various party issues. Shakafuswa has also been accused of leaking another audio recording purported to be a phone conversation between him and Brian Hapunda.

I have always thought that Dr Nevers Mumba had squandered his opportunity to (Save)rule Zambia.
He said God gave him a vision (that Zambia Shall be Saved)and Perhaps He actually did when He became vice President to Mwanawasa ,Even after People Refused to give Him a Vote through his NCC Party by the,& almost became President on Silver platter upon the Death of president Mwanawasa,but RB snatched it from Him over a simple Matter.

My advice to him is to be sober & vigilant,Apparently Dr Mumba cannot receive the required votes to Rule Zambia due to Obvious Reasons.He is a Cosidered as Pastor and not a Politician.Though He is at the Top of the Former Rulling Party MMD,Only the legal provisions of the Land have protected him abit after the Courts Ruled in his Favour,but 2016 will be his Last to be Tolerated as Party President.

I think that this is a more mature and christian response than what we got frm hh and nawakwi. These are the same vermins who complain on radio interviews how the president disregards them, doesnt consult them and has no interest in reconciling them. Prsently Zambia needs a Charismatic Leader like Sata or Mugabe.A Man with Passion for a better Zambia.A Man ready to lose his life to save His People.A Man ready to lose Popularity & Friends if thats what it takes to implement policies that will improve the lives of his people,to the Glory of God almighty,A Man who can say No! to Homosexuality,& other Ungodly sanctions.A Man of God who will not Mince Words to Talk about Zambia being a Christian Nation.

Dr Nevers Mumba I advise you not to develop resistance to Pact Invitations because I still feel that God can use them mysteriously to position You for Acceptability to Voters.
PF or UPND may need your hand to Win,& if you humbly accept like lungu agreed with RB instead of agreeing with you,Power which should have come to but which went to RB,may return back to in Future.Do not ignore this advice,because it comes from your fellow Believer who is Non Partisan.

This idea of depleting national resources through flying all over the world and coming back to ask the people who are already fasting due to economic problems to fast more as a way of replenishing the national coffers will just cause people to faint of “Njala” because most of us are already fasting due to all the economic problems lumped on us by the PF party

With this economic crisis in Zambia I advise genuine and concerned citizens to stay away from that hopeless pray and fasting thing .Unless you are telling zambians that you are going there for your own pockets and bellies I know the will be money and food this is what you are going to pray and fast for . After 18th Oct the situation will be worse because you are twisting Gods arm so let it not be so stay away

Nevers should just shut down MMD and join the PF. He is a lost soul and doesn’t make sense of late at all. I was hoping mature, honest and fair politics from him. Do you still believe that EL and PF are genuine prayer, fasting and reconciliation given that they are High court seeking to have GBM expelled so that they can spend millions of dollars on the by-election, the money which would have educated, healed and fed our poor masses? Mind you this is just to fix GBM instead of waiting for next year around the connor. They are not genuine and a so called man of God as he calls himself should have realised that with wisdom from above.

Our country needs:
– spiritual healing
– economical healing
– healing from poverty and disease
– healing from prostitution
– healing of marriages and family
– healing of relationships amongst ourselves
– healing from deep rooted hatred
– healing from lies
– healing from political strife
We need genuine love that which only God can provide.

God is sovereign and his will endures forever. God did not create this political idiocy that we have in our midst. He gave us resources mining, land, including human resources plus many more. Why Was the National Day of Prayer and Fasting Not Declared a special Holiday to enable everyone go to Church,& Participate in Fasting without being Inconvenienced by Work?
In a Christian Nation Prayer & Fasting Should not be taken lightly,Because Imminent Calamities can only be dealt with by seeking Divine Intervention Collectively.
All grieved parties Should Reconcile before approaching their Creator in Prayer.This is a Biblical way of Preparation for Prayers.
UPND have aired their grievances so that if Truelly PF owes them an Apology,They May Do so before Natioal Prayer Day,Or else Prayers may be Hindered.
Apologies do not cost much,though Circularly they are understood to mean admittion of Guilt.
