Govt Asked To Close Bars During Prayer, Fasting Day

Apostle Christopher Kunda of the Presence of God Ministries says government through the ministries of Home Affairs and Local Government and Housing should ensure that bars and other social clubs remain closed on 18th October the day of national prayer and fasting.

He tells QFM News that it will be mocking to God to have such facilities opened while the nation is in a mood of prayers and fasting.

Apostle Kunda says the declaration by the Head of State should be respected by ensuring that bars and other drinking places remain closed as the country seeks the face of God.

Apostle Kunda states that it will be mockery in the face of God to have a certain section of the Zambian society praying, while others are busy drinking and partying.

Meanwhile Apostle Kunda has called on President Edgar Lungu to consider honoring late second republican President Fredrick Chiluba by naming some of the infrastructure being built in the country such universities after him.

Apostle Kunda says Dr Chiluba deserves to be honored for the role he played in spearheading the reintroduction of multiparty democracy in the country and declaring Zambia a Christian nation.

If God existed, heard and acted on prayers, Zambia would be richer and better to live in than UK, Sweden, Saudi Arabia, or South Africa. But believe me you, prayer is one of the reason we are usually among the poorest in the world. When a doctor fails to do his job, when a teacher’s class performs poorly must we accept her call for prayers as a solution to her teaching the wrong syllabus? Whoever will attend this circus is an intellectual embryo. Amafi namalushi yekayeka pa Zambia. Atase ba mbuli!

@Radical Christian- The Bible only guides us on the use of alcohol, it neither forbids nor encourages drinking. Read Judges 9:13. 13:4, Psalms 104:15 & Proverbs 20:1 among many which concern drinking.

This suggestion is logical and we must all remember that Jesus did not leave us Fatherless, but left the Holy Spirit who isour Helper, comforter,Counsellor and he reveals mysteries to us! He is the 3rd God in the Trinity and he weeps silently when we sin, and therefore in the purification of our hearts, minds, bodies, and souls how can you inhale or imbibe alcohol? You are the same people complaining of. The bad economy, but can afford to drink until you black out,or lose your minds! How much do you spend per day, per week, per month and per year on beer? You can use this money on your parents to live better lives or the poor whom the Lord said we will always have them in our midst! Lekeni ubwalwa mwachilamo!

In whichever manner President Lungu received divine direction for the country to seek God through prayer and fasting. what is of the essence is that the man was bold enough to take such a bold step. Such a splendid display of obedience and the fear of God on the part of our President.
watch what God will do in this country after the 18th October. While some are buoy with the typical talk talk business as usual, the Lord has raised an army of prayer warriors who are already in prayer for the spiritual preparation of the nation for the day of prayer.

As a matter of fact, the Lord has started dealing with issues in the nation by executing His judgments against the workers of evil. Those who have been hiding in the name of God to commit wickedness and other atrocities are being exposed.

If the judgment of Gad has began with His Church, how will it end with the godless?

UP UNTIL THE 18TH OF OCTOBER, ITS PRAY ZAMBIA PRAY
