GBM Ready To Concede Defeat In Kasama Poll
Former Kasama Central Member of Parliament Geoffrey Mwamba says he is ready to concede defeat if he loses in the impending by-election.
Mr. Mwamba says it would be the wish of the people of Kasama Central if he loses and therefore he cannot reject their choice of whom they prefer to represent them in Parliament.
He has however told QFM News in an interview that he doubts anyone else other himself can win the by-election.
Mr. Mwamba says he does not think PF candidate Kelvin Sampa is any closer to matching his popularity in Kasama Central to beat him in the by-election.
He states that all the people that voted for him when he stood on the PF ticket in 2011 have now followed him to the UPND.
Mr. Mwamba says this is why he does not think what happened in Lubansenshi where the immediate past Member of Parliament Patrick Mucheleka was defeated would repeat itself in Kasama Central.
He adds that he is ready to counter any form of electoral corruption and vote buying that allegedly characterized the Lubansenshi by-election in order to keep what he has termed as his Parliamentary seat.

Please what you should be reporting is on how kambwili is not fit to be minister. Indeed today HH helped to show how incompetent and dull the PF team are. Even sata used to say that his ministers were stupid and dull. Surely how can these fools help solve the country’s problems. Let us vote upnd in 2016

Am surprised some are still interested in by elections when our kwacha is depreciatin due to many by elections we have had since 2012.we inport election materials,meaning taking dollar outside and increasing demand for dollar in zambia making kwacha weak.we have less than 10 months before tripatite general election.we need reconciliation to avoid such costly elections in zambia.kasama by election is not special,is it to show gbm that he is not popular?let’s us take our energy to mend our economy and not to fight inividuals who hav nothing to lose.we have about 4 pending by election,1 in northern,2 in southern and 1 in n.western.pipo are tied of voting no wonder voter aparthy.

its not about GBM winning or lossing,what value will this and more election to come before next year october2016,have on the common zambian in every part of zambia.democracy in africa and zambia in particular is abused,mp can be expelled,resign,rebel against their party and cause unnecessary by elections,which in turn affects the poor pipo because resources meant for their wellbeing is taken to by elections.prayers on 18october will be meaningless if by elections continues before general elections.
