President Edgar Lungu has been urged to consider appointing Ministers who are conversant with the ministries they are appointed to oversee.
Intellectual Forum Institute of Zambia President Alex Ng’oma says there is need for the President to appoint ministers who are qualified and experienced for the positions they are appointed to in order to help improve the economy.
He says the only way the country can improve the economy is by appointing ministers who understand their portfolios.
Dr. Ngoma has since advised President Lungu to look far and wide to identify young or old persons who are knowledgeable and have the understanding of issues to do with planning.

It would have been better if Alex gave specific examples instead of talking in general. When are people going to learn to be specific and call a spade a spade? Of course we know that Inonge Wina is not the right person to head an important ministry like National Planning.

And how long are those new ministers going to be in Govt looking at how many months PF has before winding up their visionless business? Edgar shouldnt even bother hes got no time, next year its new blood, new ideas from a youthful new government. How can we have an old Wina incharge of planning for a country, a 78yr old ati Minister of Finance which is also a sensitive portfolio for national development planning?
IF NOT

Regardless of the economical challenges the country is facing, PF will win 2016 elections with a landslide.

The shock you’re talking is in your arm pit and your party. As things stand, no one i repeat no one will dislodge PF from power next year!

That is the fact. Come rain come sunshine. PF will go a head and win the 2016 tripartite elections regardless of what we see and say.

ECL hands are tied. He cant do anything about the gang he inherited from Sata. If he fire one useless Minister as Sata used to refer to them, ECL loses 2016. It is that simple.
So expect ELC cabinet in 2017

Your statement is somehow paradoxical, its wrong and its correct at the same time.

True! See? Everyone whom Lungs discards, lines up a few disgruntled (scruffy) goons, parades them before Mulyokela or hakainde and proudly announce that they have pitched PF for UPND. Take Atanga as a case-in-point.

These have no knowledge that governance is tied to the economy. The treat their citizens like we are nothing. They grab land from landowner without regard for the law. There is complete lawlessness in this country under PF. The DPP is another issue of poor governnce by these guys. The media is alqays under attck from government. The opposition is eqully in the same situation. Confidence in this unless governmwnt is eroded from the Zambian people including investors.
