Lungu Is a Forgiving Leader – Chama
PATRIOTIC Front (PF) secretary-general Davies Chama has described President Lungu as a forgiving leader who was called names by some individuals prior to his election, but he has never sought or taken revenge after assuming office.
And Mr Chama says it is unreasonable to label President Lungu a dictator for declaring October 18, 2015 as a national day of repentance, prayer and fasting because no-one will be forced to pray on that day.
Mr Chama said after the demise of President Sata last year, many people, including some PF members, said a lot of bad things towards President Lungu but he has forgiven them.
“President Lungu is a forgiving man. He has extended his reconciliatory message to everyone, even those who called him names,” Mr Chama said.
He was speaking yesterday during Burning Issue, a radio programme on 5FM.
Mr Chama said Mr Lungu has no grudge against former Vice-President Guy Scott because as far as the President is concerned, he has reconciled with everyone who called him names.
Mr Chama said politics of scandalising, innuendos, lies and name-calling among politicians should be rejected by all well-meaning Zambians.
He said that there is so much hate speech among the citizenry and it is important to forgive each other.
Mr Chama said forgiveness is a sign of good leadership and should not be politicised because it is cardinal in ensuring peace.
He said the national day of repentance, prayer and fasting that President Lungu has called for is not aimed at the PF but for all citizens.
He said criticism of the re-alignment of government ministries is unfortunate because this was done to propel efficiency in service delivery.
Mr Chama also said President Lungu has not diverted from the PF manifesto of infrastructure development, which includes improving roads.
He said the challenges that the country is facing should not be politicised because they are not unique to Zambia.
On tribal remarks he allegedly made against the Tongas, Mr Chama said that his remarks were specifically directed at United Party for National Development (UPND) president Hakainde Hichilema and not the Tonga people.
Mr Chama said that he respects all tribes and that he holds no grudge against any tribe.
He also condemned violent party cadres, including those masquerading as PF cadres.

Lungu’s continued tolerance of your stupidity actually shows that he is not interested in taking the PF anywhere. You swines can’t even mobilize the party structures countrywide! All those calling 18th as a satanic day I think there more satanic than even satan. So pipo, do they mean that even nomal sunday services at there local churchs wont be there? I owez advise on one thing pipo, lets not politisiz even thing of God. Lungu didn’t change the calender & put 18th on sunday, this shows how even Halls or Housewares or Shades in the name of some churchs that there not church but let them give those big biuldings to FRA & Indian bussinessmen.

God forgives evil/sin but consequences of wrong doing are upheld. If forgiveness ever exists in ECL, which I doubt, then it must not supplant the consequences of wrong. All I see is mediocre casual leadership with no respect for humanity. He has instead shown no determination to discipline cadres such as Chama and his gunman advisor.

A lot of PF Members in Lusaka and on the Copperbelt are exceedingly annoyed with President Lungu for appointing Dora Silya as the new Energy Minister for the Ministry that has been split to pave way for the appointment of other corrupt people that insulted the PF Founder Member Micheal Sata in the run upto the 2011 General Elections.
As his girl freind and a partner in corruption, Edgar Lungu has conqured all odds by refusing to listen to many Zambians that have been opposing his move of splitting the ministries.
The PF Members led by the vocal Roan MP Chishimba Kambwili have gathered in Kitwe after the breaking news of Dora Silya becoming a cabinet minister. The Anti Edgar Lungu Group is expected top demand the immeadete resignation of President Lungu from the PF for insulting the legacy of Micheal Sata by appointing Dora Silya. Chishimba Kambwili is said to have collapsed after comfirming Dora Silya’s appointment.
Many royal PF members have been sidelined by President Lungu in appointments in preference for the people that insulted the late PF leader like Micheal Kaingu and Dora Silya.

Guys when you have passed through school especially tertiary you need to think like an educated person. Surely these issues of 666 which we some religious groups used to threaten us with, you still talk about them. Read and understand the genesis and appreciate what it means, free from these religious indoctrinations. Literature is there. Issues of the world will end today, tomorrow shows lack of knowledge of things of God. Elyo somehow it shows levels of education that are too low.

Good evening zambians. Greetings from sweden. I am currently on holiday visiting family and friends. Coming back to chama, this man is simply a bootlicker. The worst thing a leader can do is surround himself by “Yes” men who only praise him. Lungu is living in a utopia where his fellow cronies keep lying to him that things on the ground are ok.
