Grade 9 pupils wait for power after ZESCO Loadshedding during the Computer studies practical exam

Grade 9 pupils wait for power after ZESCO Loadshedding during the Computer studies practical exam

What the PF gov’t is doing in the education sector is indeed a shame of themselves.

PF and their unplanned curriculum in Computer Studies is one of the things we have been complaining about for a long time now Imagine, schools taking 2 days just to write practical exams and as at now 00:35 teachers and pupils are still at school doing the G9 practical exams.

Due to Lungushedding and compounded with limited number of Computers in schools most schools in the country are still conducting the practical Computer exams. We are told there are schools across the country that will be finishing the exams tomorrow morning around 10hrs and yet some pupils are supposed to write French at 08:00 hours

Things have really gone wrong in this country and need to be collected. Take into considerations that the teacher and the pupils commerced the exercise as early as 08hrs Monday morning? What are they eating at the day schools some pupils walk for kilometres to reach there? Is this PF gov’t a gov’t for the people? Isn’t this animal type of gov’t with no regard of humans at all?

And then Edgar Chagwa Lungu wakes up one morning in Ndeke Kitwe, goes to address a rally at chisokone market full of Tanzanian marketeers wing and threatens to deal with the teachers alleging they are supporting opposition.

Can he the president give us reasons why civil servants, headteachers and the many teachers across the country shouldn’t support Hakainde Hichilema and UPND? Why not support the leader the people feel will change the way the education sector is being run?

No need to worry as the party UPND will come and control each and every situation PF has put the education sector into. Civil servants, please register as voters.

I am a PF supporter but i support what the UPND Youth coordinator has said.
But most importantly, i should admit that Iam still believing in PF as a party but not Edgar Lungu.
I propose to the PF to consider replacing Edgar Lungu with a better candidate.
Edgar Lungui is too dull to understand happenings in the country.
PF wake up and replace Edgar Lungu before its too late.

Ask students who cant use computers the pain they go through with asignments and research. yes it was not easy but that was temporal. It is criminal actually for any headteacher to expect ZESCO or Lungu to keep power running forever just because there is ICT exams.

You just came through grade 9 Science practicals recently and you had a sham of ICT practical. Two major events in a short space of time. Now, cost your expenditure on these two and compare to what you spent on sports from term 1 and term 2! 10:1
With these practicals, pupils will be prepared for G12, but that is where you spent minimal amounts. You are the wizards who caused this Agness (my mother’s name as you suggested I call the exam).

So its not Lungu to come and use initiatives at each and every school. We should learn to be innovative. I came from Tanzania loadshedding there is worse than Zambia I wanted to weld the tail of a vehicle and I failed. We should learn to think more and less in blaming others.

ICT issues have nothing to do with politics. they are a matter of survival for our children. we must be grateful that we started. all the issues that will come along will be dealt with accordingly.

Just been reading the comments in line with story above.firstly I have note that the comments are out of context. I have also note that bloggers do not stick to the story given instead there is so much ignorance being exhibited. Bloggers have choosen just to comment for the sake of it ,be heard or just to register their peesence on the site. Fist and foremost, the issue at hand has nothing to do with Either the president or minister of education but has everything to do with the school management.Prior arrangements should have been made.we all know by now that there is loadsheding and the loadsheding schedules are available in these respective schools. For instance my 8yr old son a grade four pupil at chudleigh school knows when the loadsheding would occur. So the issue of blaming the president and deaming his name should be the out.let us deal with the issue of planning and prioritizing which I feel school management should embrace.

Problem with the partisan analysts is that they seek sympathy. They do not talk out in good faith and a great concern.

Even something which must looked at wholistically is bent on politics. Let the teachers choose who to support- EL, Winter, HH, Mumba, Muliokela etc.

Who told him the solution only lied in HH. Because he is a beneficially therefore baised.
