Too many accidents at John Chinena. Government must intervene and perhaps we start by changing the name of the area to John Cena. The name is interpreted differently by different circles of society……..some even refer to it as v#$%ga

I like you analysis TK everything on this accident is wrong. To add on even the sport where the driver was attempting to overtake the truck is a wrong one.
The spot is a curve and the white solid line is visible enough for one to see. Its very sad but as motorists, we need to obey traffic rules as it is for our own safety

Sad indeed, MTSRIEP. This John Chinene spot seem to be claiming a number of lives. I would advise the authorities to call upon the Catholic Priest to go say prayers at this place.

Human error caused the accident, not the name of the place, not the spirits, not the devil and not the President. Motorists please observe road traffic rules.

November 4, 2015 at 5:50 am
My condolences to the families at loss.
Indeed, we want to have dual carriage way from Kafue district to Chingola.
This route has high traffic for industrial trucks and it is highly inconveniencing for other motorists to even overtake.
For, now all drivers observe the rules. A solid line on the road means “You can not overtake another vehicle.”

The place is a market with alot of pedestrians crossing to and from.I often drive past, therefore I can confirm that humps are there, proper signage is also there, there is a visible solid line. Now how can a normal and competent driver overtake/over speed at such a place?

Very sad indeed. But, What are basic causes of these accidents? Has RTSA dug deeper to find the root/basic causes of the accidents.Am sure one basic cause is poor decision making by drivers because they are NOT suitable to drive. Driving is a profession that requires high ability to make correct decisions whilst driving. As it is, anybody even those who failed grade 7 are allowed in this profession. What quality of decisions would these people make? Poor of course. Hence accidents on the roads. “POOR INPUT MATERIALS = POOR FINAL PRODUCTS”.
