Pf Members Resist Bishop Chomba’s Appointment, ‘Have We Run Short Of People’
Some Patriotic Front members have expressed displeasure at President Edgar Lungu’s decision to appoint controversial clergy Bishop Edward Chomba as Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Energy.
The appointment which evidently caught many by surprise stirred up debate with some arguing the ruling party was not short of people for the Head of State to have settled for Chomba.
“What was the rationale behind the President’s decision to pluck out Chomba and install him as PS ku Energy?, with so many options surely?” one noted as he sought anonymity.
Bishop Chomba shot to national attention when he alleged United party for National Development (UPND) President Hakainde Hichilema was a practising Satanist at a PF rally in Kabwe at the height of presidential campaigns.
He was later dragged to court by Hichilema over the controversial statement that saw PF Secretary General Davies Chama apologise on behalf of Chomba.
“What credentials does Chomba surely bring to the Ministry of Energy? is he going to be praying for the power deficits we have as a country at such a critical time? some of these portfolios should be a preserve of professionals, we are shooting ourselves in the foot, we need to instil confidence in people, and these appointments are doing the exact opposite” another one complained.
Bishop Chomba of the International Communion of the Holy Christian Orthodox Church campaigning vigorously campaigned for President Lungu in the run up to the hotly contested Presidential election and his appointment has largely been seen as a reward for his efforts.

People who know Chomba, know him as a very corrupt and selfish individual. He is a loudmouth who has no educational qualifications for any post, not even as a pastor… trust us.

This bioshock tomba was the one running the show on the 18th of October, am sure his 18th of October prayer has been answered, he was praying and fasting for a job, i just feel for career city servants who have put in their best to advance in their careers only to be sidelined,tough luck guys, next time do the right thing, it’s for your own good.

I know not this Bishop Chomba nor what credentials he brings to the ministry, but the Position of Permanent Secretary is not supposed to be for such stupid appointments!

Kakolwe this is what the current crop of Zambian politicians do. They throw up on us then when they leave govt find that nabena balya ama lushi yabo. So chi Nalumango is even hiding in some opposition party acting like she’s got brains but chilelya ama lushi

Tell them, these idiots when they are given chance to rule they do rubbish, when they get out they advocate for good things they never did themselves. Idiots like these former Ministers must never be given second chances to misbehave again, look at Mulongoti, Nalumango, etc, they are simply idiots who think Zambians are idiots with short memories. It is a lesson to PF Ministers to do the right things now.

PF’s kitchen is too hot as can be seen by some appointments by the Presdo but the cadres are just too ashamed to join the winning team (UPND) nxt year. So they would rather sink their heads in the sand and put up all sorts of defence statements to justify their support for the dying PF.

As long as UPND is under the cursed satanist, Hichilema, forget winning. Try any other person, not the tribalist. If Simon Kapwepwe failed to be President of Zambia because he was a tribalist, how can HH become President?

Some people are questioning Lungu’s mental status. Has he gone nuts? Chainama can be the best state house for he ecl going by this expression of mental status.

Things are just bad for us who can not get near Lungu.
Nowonder some people are saying we will make names by performing silly things against the opposition which can make headlines in the newspapers, no matter the risks involved just to win abnormal ecl’s hear for an appointment.

Education now no longer has meaning in this govt. That is why the Grade 6 children under the new syllabus have no books yet they said to write the new syllabus exams.
