Ban On Edible Oil Lifted

Government has lifted the ban on importation of edible oils.

Agriculture Minister Given Lubinda says the move has been taken in order to allow limited importation of edible oils to create competition on the local market.

Mr Lubinda  says following the ban on edible oils, some local oil processors increased the prices of the product.

The Minister however, said strict measures have been put in place to ensure that importers adhere to the agreed procedures.

He said this when he presented a ministerial statement in parliament

Just say that as a government you have failed to bring about positive growth within the local markets. You have simply failed. Now you are redoing all the politcal gimmicks you put in place. It is funny that PF are now undoing all the silly things we as upnd told them not to do. When HH speaks ati azinvesa. Please next time let us vote upnd
