Plunder Of Mwanawasa Stadium Car Park
Dear editor,
Could someone at the Ministry of Lands PLEASE come quickly and put a stop to the allocation of plots by Ndola City Council on a piece of land original left for a car park at Levy Mwanawasa stadium.
Ndola City council should be ashamed of what they are doing in broad day light. They cannot surely justify their actions. Whenever we have an international match at the stadium, its a challenge finding a parking space.
Instead of developing this piece of land for the intended purpose, they have abandoned their responsibility. Earlier suggestions where that this car park could also serve as practice area for driving schools.
Levy Mwanawasa is an icon for the city, lets all play a part in conserving it. Could someone in those lofty offices please spare sometime and do some work for a change. Put an end to this stupidity.

I totally agree with you. Ishi I mbwa shamu council shapwisha land allocated to the Levy stadium. Now whenever there is a match these vagabonds secure parking space which they exorbitantly charge for. This indeed must seriously be looked into. Ba politician belatemwa fye ama camera they shoul address real issues.

Ndola City Council one time sold all the parks in the city for plots konse ku swimming pool kulya because of corruption. Ba PF lets see you in action if you are really a no corruption party

This is all because of councillors involvement in the allocation of plots. Here in Kitwe the Kitwe city council have allocated plots on top of water pipes. Am talking about MN, there is a water tank that supplies water to mukuba natwange. Now the council has given plots on top of the pipe that supplies water to this tank. And this is the same council and which says they follow the lay down procedures when giving out plots. To me what is happening in Ndola and Kitwe is simply because the management at the two institution and minister in charge have failed. I tell you Kitwe town center and second class areas they are very dirty and some one wonders where such hug budgets for the council are used
