Open Letter To United Party For National Development (Upnd) Vice President For Administration Mr Geofrey Bwalya Mwamba (GBM)
WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 16, 2015.
LUSAKA, ZAMBIA.
Dear GBM,
Since you joined UPND and got yourself appointed as vice president for administration you have been propagating tribalism in Northern Province. Your message has been that President Edgar Chagwa Lungu has denied Bembas a Republican Vice President. You have been saying openly that Mr Lungu should have appointed a Bemba as Republican Vice President. Further, you have been saying that UPND leader Mr Hakainde Hichilema has demonstrated regard for Bembas by appointing you, a Bemba as his vice president. In saying the foregoing, your motive has been very clear namely to make Bembas vote for UPND in 2016 in order to be rewarded with a vice president from their tribe. It is not my intention in this letter to delve into the serious issues of tribalism that your statements have raised. My aim is just to expose the folly of your reasoning as follows;
1. Now that the “Running Mate” clause has been adopted in the new Republican Constitution we want to see if indeed Mr Hichilema will adopt you as his running mate so that you can become Republican Vice President;
2. If indeed Mr Hichilema will adopt you as his running mate because you are Bemba then those few doubting Thomases who have doubted our position that tribe plays a big role in the politics of the UPND leader will finally agree with us;
3. Finally, since you have also accused President Lungu of giving positions to people who joined PF later, we are patiently waiting to see if your hero Mr Hichilema will appoint you as his running mate having joined UPND later than many UPND members including the likes of Mr Gary Nkombo, Dr Cancious Banda, former First lady Mrs Maureen Mwanawasa and Mrs Mutale Nalumango, to mention but a few.

Frank and his desperation, remember your pf nw is not like that of 2011 where every zambian listened to ur shit, things are changed frank. Ifu think your failed pf can rule for 20yrs like the other failed admin wait and see wat 2016 ll be for you. And abt tribalism dat iat is nolonger playing, coz 2016 wont be by majority vote but the long awaited 50+1, be wise and stop making a fool of your self mu media
