‘A Christian Nation In a Brothel State’ Book Launched

The Intellectual Forum Institute of Zambia (IFIZ) has appealed to national leaders to consider formulating policies and putting measures in place that will cultivate and stimulate a culture of reading and writing in the country.
Speaking during the launch of a book entitle “A Christian Nation in a Brothel State” written by Chris Zimba, IFIZ President Dr. Alex Ng’oma says it is a fact that the country does not have many books that are written about Zambia by Zambians.
He explains that the book seeks to demonstrate the linkage between the declaration of Zambia as a Christian nation and the country’s political system, noting that the book will contribute to the dynamics of the debate on the matter.
Dr. Ng’oma says the book has endeavored to provide reasons for and against the Christian nation declaration, adding that this will give the proponents and opponents of the declaration something to think about.
He adds that the book also gives something to think about as the country is in the process of enacting a new constitution.
Dr. Ng’oma has further urged publishing houses to consider finding innovative ways of encouraging and supporting local writers as this is the only way through which the book industry can grow and encourage a reading culture in the country.
And good will Ambassador of persons with disabilities, Elijah Ngwale says the book is an eye opener to the truth about Zambia being a Christian nation.

We can see for ourselves why it would be a bad idea to become a government sanctioned “Christian “nation,by looking at countries which have government sanctioned religions.

Declaring Zambia a Christian nation was not a mistake but a political strategy by Chiluba and his advisors. Politicians feast on the masses’ weak points and our politicians including KK realised long time ago that Zambians are so Christian oriented and therefore that provides a means to subjugate and oppress them by using the bible and Christianity mantra while you plunder. Edgar Lungu has had declining political fortunes and his advisors see nothing else to save him apart from talking the Christianity language and his so called humility. That is why theu will spend millions of dollars to build a tabernacle for worship.

Just what does a Christian nation look like?

First, we have to ask, which branch of Christianity?

Deciding upon that could launch a war by itself!

Chiluba made a fundamental mistake by declaring Zambia a christian nation. The declaration never brought value to Zambia but edifices individuals as Christians, as a nation it was a stupid declaration that collectively has never made Zambia a better country than any other in the region or internationally as Zambia is as corrupt just like most African countries and now we have leaders hiding behind the Christian veil for them to achieve their selfish motives. Declaration as a country won’t make its citizenry go to heaven. Never Zambians are so Tribalistic just like the rest of Africa we insult ourselves like it’s in fashion. Yak.

The mixing of politics and religion is always to the detriment of both. From the time Constantine co-opted Christianity, to when Napoleon crowned himself in a firm denial that the Church made him Emperor (as it pretended to do with Charlemagne) the Church went from being a noble social movement far ahead of its time that lacked any political ambitions or claims to power, to being a cesspool of corruption focused on riches and power, while simultaneously being used as a tool and excuse for warfare and oppression. More than two centuries later the Church is still burdened with the legacy of being both a tool of politics as well as a political organization itself. I’d rather not see my religion perverted by politicians.

Nothing stirs people up like religion and politics.
To a great many non politicians, religion is an addictive drug which like heroin or meth, takes over a person’s life, and does his thinking and talking for him.
“I can stop this any time I want to”. Ever hear that one?
This is where drug addicts and religious zealots are similar; they both state opinions as facts and hotly deny they may be wrong.
Rigidity and lack of adaptability are common to both as they seek a comfort zone as a form of self medication against whatever unresolved conflicts rage within them.

The Christian Bible is so thoroughly replete with worshipping an evil god who murders and authorizes murder, genocide, adultery, incest, etc. The whole New Testament is stood on its ears by the second chapter of James which thoroughly does away with the so-called salvation by faith. It’s preposterous that any thinking person could fall for this tripe.

To declare a Nation, secular, Muslim, Christian does not mean that everyone in that nation is dedicated to that philosophy. It simply means that the majority of the people have a christian bias. They associate themselves with the Christian values. To expect everyone to be secular simply because a nation is declared secular a secular is impossible. So when Zambia says that it is a Christian nation, that in itself does not mean everyone is, but majority of Zambians are, it also means that we are working towards being shaped to those Chrstian values. The only intellectual I know of is one who is discovering everyday. Not the one who thinks that he has arrived. By the way, most of the governing laws in the World are rooted in Christian values. We are a Christian Nation and we are proud to be so. Others are Muslim nations and they are proud, while others are secular nations. The only difference with Christian principles is that it does not force you to be a Christian, but gives you an open door to choose or to deny it.

You may not be aware how Zambia has been honoured , to be a Christian nation, this tag only pains Satan and his followers
We have heard of so many countries on this earth, some Muslim , secular ,Buddhist etc , .
No one goes crazy about such tags , but when it comes to Christianity you find crazy voices shouting .
Let me tell you the declaration has saved Zambia from a lot of evil that happen in some un shielded nations, of course not every one is a Christian .
However even non believers are blessed .
It is only Satan who suffers from the tag , and will continue to .
The bible says blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord , by the way who wants to be cursed do you want a curse on your life or be blessed .
However even in the blessed nation you can be cursed.
Those who speak against the declaration are cursed, since it is their own choice

Well as long as Zambia has a young population , who love God Christianity is still growing which will enshrine greatness to the nation .
America has been great because of the nation’s fathers who trusted God,even in their constitution it was enshrined.
Now it is Zambia’s turn to be great,Satan hates it.
It is only in Zambia where preachers of the gospel can talk about salvation through Christ even in buses and people love it.
I can prophesy that there is no loss for being a blessed nation. Zambia has just been born again you should expect more powerful ministries arising to touch the whole World, what God has started no man will stop it. Even Satan has no power over God’s move.

As Pf we are set and welcome the declaration as a Christian nation. We have got no problem with it. Its up to some people who feel that its not because of what they do such as business of putting up Radio station across the country where they play worldly music and polluting the minds of the young people they claim to protect.
