Lusaka Man Given Two Weeks To Have Sex With His Wife

A man of Lusaka’s Matero Township has been given a two-week ultimatum in which to have sex with his wife or be divorced.
This is a case in which Isabel Kumwenda, 23, sued her husband Wilson Kumwenda for marriage reconciliation citing his refusal to have sex with her from the time she gave birth.
Wilson Kumwenda, 35 has resorted to be sleeping in the car and only entered the house when he wanted to bath or change clothes claiming he felt disgusted to have sex with his wife because she is breastfeeding.
Kumwenda has vowed never to have sex with his breastfeeding wife because he could not stand the smell of breast milk.
He told the Matero local court that he had vowed to never engage his wife sexually until their 11-month-old baby was weaned off.
“I feel like throwing up when having sex with a breastfeeding wife, our baby is 11 months but I will wait until he is weaned off, for now I will manage to stay without sex even her she will manage because she managed to be a single mum for five years,” he said.
“When I met this woman she had a five-year-old daughter and she was not married, hence if she managed to stay without a man for that long, I am sure even in my house she will manage,” he said.
He dared his wife to have sex with other men who could stand breastfeeding women if she was not willing to wait.
Isabel said she was tired of staying with her husband without sex as if she was staying with her brother because it was tormenting.
“My husband does not allow me to be around when he is from bathing citing that he no longer wanted me to see his nakedness,” she said.
She said whenever she tried to engage her husband sexually he would refuse, saying she was smelling bad even when she was just from bathing.
Magistrate Lewis Mumba, sitting with Pauline Newa gave the man a two-week ultimatum in which to have sex with his wife failure to which they would be granted divorce.

What a foolish ruling by the PF influenced courts. It seems the entire country has become rotten. This is what happens when we have constitution which gives the president power to appoint even judges. What we have are judges that think like thugs. How do you give such a stupid ruling? Zambia lacks social support services for such people. ALot of issues could easily be resolved if the pf government invested in social support services. Where is our money going? Vote upnd

Some of these so called magistrates what kind of judgement is that using sex as a solution, counselling the man or couple would also help it’s not just sex like dogs but the man has lost love and emotional attachment to the wife. Yes sometimes breasts milk can be a nuisance and messy but there other sexual positions a man can use to avoid direct contact with leaking breasts.

He probably has a nasty std in his pants.nasty smell and maggots scrumbling all over.its not healthy for a breast feeding mother to indulge in sex.its equally not right to sleep in the car under the pretence of avoiding sex.alangizi told us to sleep on the floor until the baby stops feeding on breast milk.even dr manda said it. Never sleep with a breast feeding wife. The hormones contaminate the milk making the baby look like the final stages of aids

@eng must be as backward, dull and ignorant as that alangizi thing.
I’ve appealed for the abolition of these local courts and introduce family courts or small courts where we have qualified lawyers sitting to try cases. Not aya ayakubulafye a retired dull headmaster nangu kanyangu ati nimwe bashimafumu!

The man is alright, is marriage all about having sex? Shame for the ruling as well as if someone can force someone to do things against his or her will.

Lots of people believe marriage is all about sex yet there is more to it. Let her go hang if she is forcing and the Man is right in my view so long he is being truthful and factual.
