President Lungu Presented With Constitution Bills

President Edgar Lungu has been presented with the constitution of Zambia bill no.16 and the constitution amendment bill no.17 of 2015.

Clerk of the National Assembly Doris Mwiinga presented the documents to the president on behalf of the Speaker of the National Assembly Patrick Matibini.

And speaking after receiving the bills, President Lungu promised to sign the bills into law in the first week of January 2016.

He said he would have signed the bill immediately, but was unable to do so due to the petition he has received from Heritage party president Brigadier General Godfrey Miyanda which he intends to study and reflect on.

President Lungu says he wants to give the people of Zambia what they want; adding that in a democracy one should do what the majority wants.

Two things am doing this christmas.
(1)giving miyanda a free farm, plus all the farming inputs so he can contribute to the diversification of zambias dependency on copper.
    (2) giving him out to upnd,so he can feel at home and realise that he is a loser jst as everyone in that party.

Mr President…many doubted you in the first place. But for the late president Michael sata to trust you with responsibility..he saw something in you that is unique in PF. And that which is unique is slowly being seen by Zambian now.
Mr President many zambians have suffered at the hands of the foreign investors because of the out-date Constitution we have. Can you please speed up the approval of the amended Employment Act as well. The current one has made alot of zambian to suffer because it is silent on many critical employment issues which foreign investors have taken advantage of. For as long as you sign the new constitution….you and PF i have you vote next year.
