Suspected PF Cadres Attack Mtendere Mosque

Suspected Patriotic Front cadres have attacked Mtendere Mosque in Lusaka where Forum for Democracy and Development President Edith Nawakwi is holding a meeting with Muslim women.
The stone throwing cadres are demanding that the FDD leader leaves the Mosque.
The vehicle belonging to Islamic Council of Zambia President Suzyo Zimba has been damaged in the process after stones landed on it.
QFM’s Albert Mpezeni reports from the scene that the cadres who are chanting anti Nawakwi slogans besieged the Mosque after word went round that the FDD leader was in the area meeting Muslim women.

A few days ago an article was published stating that the muslim community supposedly decided to support lungu. We are glad that now the muslim community will see for themselves just how thugish the pf are. As muslims am sure your relgiion is against violence against women especially. We mourn with you our muslim brothers and sisters and ask that you think carefully how your will use your vote. THis is just the beginning of pf’s violence of intimidation. Vote upnd

I see the strategy now and all with eyes can see.after the moslem community openly declared the support for PF,UPND sent their cadres hiding in PF regalia to dirten the PF name.its illogical for pf cadres to attack a group of people promising their support,if this is upnd strategies,mulabeja WE CAN C U try somthing else and why Nawakwi who can even lose to Mulyokela?

Intimidation by PF will get worse as we enter 2016, attack on a religion normally calls for a president to denounce such violence. I will sit hear and wait for Edgar to say something about it… am waiting…
