GBM Reported To Police Over ‘Threats’ On President Lungu

Patriotic Front Deputy Spokesperson Frank Bwalya has reported UPND Vice President Geoffrey Mwamba to the Police over his statement that he will go for the throat of President Edgar Lungu.
Briefing journalists after reporting Mr. Mwamba at Lusaka Central Police this morning, Mr. Bwalya says he has decided to report the UPND vice president for administration to the Police having previously made similar remarks pertaining to the life of the President.
He says he hopes Police will open an inquiry to look into the threats Mr. Mwamba made on the life of the President.
Mr. Bwalya states that the statement issued by Mr. Mwamba after being released from Police cells that he will now go for the throat of President Lungu should not be taken lightly.

GBM was just doing ichimbuya on His Excellence Edgar Chagwa Lungu as the late Michael Chilufya Sata did to RB when he called him nyamasoya.

Can nyamasoya be compared to cutting the throught iwe! GBM is a loose political canon who should be caged before he plunges this conutry int chaos. He should choose his worlds carefully it seems this man talks without thinking, doesnt he know that thregtening violence more over to the president is a criminal offence?

Chovix, does ‘cut throat’ competition mean cutting throats of chickens or indeed anyone?

You can not go into the boxing ring with your opponent’s hands tied and boast to be conqueror after the fight.

@ Cludz……100% correct! the English must be laughing at us. Going for the throat means finishing someone off in a game or competition. In this case GBM is referring to finishing President Lungu off in their Political game or competition.

@ NEZ amazes with his drems . Where do you get the courage that UPND will win the elections in AuguSt? Ulifutu lyamuntu iwe. Your party shall never win an election under the leadership of HH and you as chief strategist. Keep on dreaming my friend. Mr Mazoka was a real leader not the current crop of people at the helm of the party. Forget. Find something better to do in your life my friend.

Frank Bwalya requested GBM to prove to the nation if he has a grade 12 certificate.I am now wondering who between GBM and Frank really went to grade 12. Bwalya get your dictionary or go to google search and look for the idiom,”I will come for your throat”. The problem with us Bembas is that we translate word by word…what about when two people are at each other’s throat? check the meaning to,o for the later.I am also disapointed with the police such that no one could interpret the meaning of the idiom properly.. Anyway when you lose in court the entire nation will know who ever stepped into grade 12 between the entire PF and GBM… Its a shame fi group three imwee… I remember when i was at school, ba group three ebali no lubuli, why? that was the only weapon they had… I now believe GBM is very educated…
