The Nation must by now know that we may have to wait a little longer for the Final Results of August 11th General Polls.
Reason being that UPND Leader Hakainde Hichilema & his Party have caused delayment in the announcement of Results at ECZ by demanding to have all Results Verified by 2 Committees, a situation that is tedious & cumbersome!
The UPND Leader stormed ECZ Totalling Center (Mulungushi Conference Centre) this morning. In the Meeting we had with HH, ECZ Commission & all Stakeholders, HH petitioned the ECZ Commission to Suspend announcement of all Lusaka Results as they have been Rigged by ECZ & the Ruling Patriotic Front – PF.
He also demanded that ECZ reverts to the old way of Manual Transmission of Election Results from Polling Stations to the ECZ Totalling Center as opposed to the current Electronic Transmission System that ECZ uses. HH alledged that PF through ECZ has Hucked into the ECZ Computer System & tempering with the Results.
