Magarate Mwanakatwe Loses Lusaka Central Paliamentary Seat

THE Lusaka High Court has nullified the parliamentary election of Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry, Margaret Mwanakatwe as PF’s Member of Parliament for Lusaka Central Constituency in Lusaka Province.

This is in a matter in which losing UPND Lusaka Central Parliamentary Candidate Charlotte Scott had petitioned the election of Mrs Mwanakatwe and the Electoral Commission of Zambia.

Lusaka High Court Judge Mwiinde Siavwapa ruled this morning that Margaret Mwanakatwe was not validly elected as Member of Parliament for the Lusaka Central Constituency on PF ticket.

“In conclusion, the 1st respondent was not validly elected. I declare the election void.”

What next. Is it a bye election or the next candidate with the next highest number of votes becomes the next MP. What does the constitution say?

Is it true Matero Boys still uses corporal punishment what s shame. I have always loved the school. Any teacher who uses corporal punishment should be ashamed.

In fact this PF government should be decared null and void because they cheated. All ministers who campaigned using government resources should lose their seats. Only a corrupt judge can allow a PF winner to retain a seat when even the constitutional court ruled that ministers were in office illegally. That fact alone nullifies their win.

They are just touching intelligent women. This woman is like Nkandu Luwo. Is this not gender violence at its best?
