Canisius Banda: UPND In Leadership Crisis

THE UPND leadership has suffered a mortal blow following the incarceration of its leader Hakainde Hichilema which has left the flock headless and lost, says former vice-president for politics Canisius Banda.
Dr Banda further said the party vice president for administration Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba was now exhibiting cowardice.
He said that even now Mr Hichilema despite being in prison still had all the power over the UPND while Mr Mr Mwamba was not doing anything.
“In a curious case of parallelism, as my late wife’s body was being lowered into the grave two years ago, I turned to Hichilema and advised him to groom a successor or successors. Leadership requires that” he said

iam surprised with Canisius Banda’s assertion that UPND is in leadership crisis.Frankly speaking this is when the party has become more united than before with very loyal membership I feel Dr Banda has misdirected himself. It is difficult to belief in what he claims unless he substantiates his claims. A chimwene siconco.

African politics are very bad. We think if you are insulting then you are a strong party. We think when we are fighting the ruling party the were are existing. We thinK when we are arrogant then we are strong. Canisius Banda is marely telling the truth and should be respected.

The UPND is a Tonga party and only a Tonga can be president. The suffering that both HH and GBM have gone through in the past one month is testimony on how not to organize a party.

How about Never Mumba, Pentecostals are very good at changing names, we possibly need overnight prayers to help our brother, Never, to change his name to something positive. Today he has thrown in the towel on becoming President and all he wants is a job, any job and even toilet cleaning can do
