I Spent Close To K2 million- Kambwili…To Make Sure Pres Lungu Is Re-elected

I spent close to K2 million in the 2016 elections campaigns to make sure that President Edgar Lungu is re-elected, insists embattled Roan Member of Parliament Chishimba Kambwili. And Kambwili says his blood is still PF despite facing a set back after the MCC expelled him from the governing party.
Kambwili is telling his sister in the video that has gone viral that he spent close to K2 million in the PF campaigns, money that was sourced Now, both his business empire and associates. Kambwili tells his sister that he has earned his money through hard work.He said he started doing business in 1993 and he has grown into a mining magnet.

Kambwili bragged that his firm Mwamona Investment is the one that runs mines on the Copperbelt.
” I can manage to go to England just to go and have a cup of coffee and back with the money I make from the mines but l do not brag about it,” Kambwili said.

When asked whether this is where he got the K2 million he said he used for the PF campaigns, the Roan MP retorted: ” I said close to K2 million and this money came from my businesses as well as from partners. When you are in politics and Government you create partners.”
And on his corruption investigation, Kambwili said the ACC better back off and give him a break.

” I started building this house days after the President fired me, amid speculations that I was involved in corrupt activities. Now if I were corrupt, was going to start building a house of this nature?I keep my money in the bank. The ACC have gone to the banks and found my money there. Corrupt people hide their money under the pillow or bury it in the sand but my money is in local banks because it is clean money,” he explained.
Asked whether he has intention to work with the opposition United Party for National Development (UPND), Kambwili said the future will tell but that at the moment he is still PF.

“Will cross the bridge when we get to the river. I don’t want to talk about something that is futuristic. What if I died today. God is the one who knows about tomorrow. Life is very dynamic maybe God can tell me to work with UPND or maybe to form my own party or to take over Nevers Mumba nashalaneka party. Therefore, will close the bridge when we get to the river. For now I am PF,” Kambwili insisted.
