Mutati Can’t Resign- Dante Saunders…Otherwise He Could Have Stepped Aside A Long Time Ago

Political Activist Dante Saunders says just as it is difficult for a camel to enter into a hole of a needle, it is impossible for Finance Minister Felix Mutati to resign his position on moral grounds following his perceived incompetence to run the ministry.
Guns have been directed at Mutati following Movement for Multiparty Democracy(MMD) leader Dr Nevers Mumba’s report that Zambia’s external debt stock stood at 30 billion USD against Mutati’s Ministerial statement in Parliament that the debt is 7.2 billion USD.
After Dr Mumba’s revelations, Patriots for Economic Progress (PeP) leader Sean Tembo called for the immediate resignation of Mutati, while ADD leader Charles Milupi dared the Finance Minister to rebut or confirm the new revelations.
When reached for a comment, Saunders said in African politics there are no morals so it will be too much to call for Mutati’s blood.
“Talking about Mutati resigning on moral grounds, it can’t happen because morality in PF and MMD government does not exist. Otherwise, the Finance Minister could have resigned a long time ago on many other issues,” he said.
Saunders said the revelations that Zambia owes external market forces 30 billion USD is very shocked.
“How did they use the money?” he asked.
Saunders said one day the PF government will be brought before the courts of law to account how they spent 30 billion USD which the country probably owes the external market forces.
” People do not believe in what the PF/MMD government say. One day they will be brought before the courts of law to account how they used the money and many other injustices they are committing” he said.
Saunders said Zambians should demand for a Constitution that would deter Government from borrowing money excessively.
