Son to Legendary Chipolopolo Midfied genius Charles Musonda, Charly Musonda Juniour will soon feature for the Chipolopolo senior team, Tumfweko can exclusively reveal.
A source at Passports office in the Ministry of Home Affairs HQ in Lusaka has informed Tumfweko of the development that Charly Musonda’s Zambian Passport has been issued and is ready.
Musonda recently snubbed a call by Belgian U21 coach Johan Walem. National Team coach Wedson Nyirenda will soon formalize a call up on the Belgian born wing wizard.
And Belgian coach Roberto Martinez, who recently praised Eden Hazard for returning from injury to play for Belgium’s senior team, took an indirect swipe at Musonda for failing to realise the opportunity presented to him.
‘Johan [Walem] has one of the most complicated jobs in football,’ the former Everton manager told Belgian outlet DH.
‘To manage to involve U21s who are very talented and who, sometimes, feel that going there is not rewarding.
‘That’s the truth.’ said Martinez.
And a Tumfweko check on Wikipedia this morning showed an updated nationality on Charly Musondas profile.
Charly Musonda’s Parents Charles and Angela Mushimba Musonda are very much Zambians who have tasted the mining fumes from Butondo township in Mufulira known as ‘Senta’ locally.
