Chikuse Dates DEC…To Find Out Why They Don’t Act On The Auditor General’s Report

Chikuse Dates DEC…To Find Out Why They Don’t Act On The Auditor General’s Report

After successfully petitioning the Anti-Corruption Commission(ACC) last week to effect arrests on government officials responsible for looting the national treasury as confirmed by the Auditor General’s Report, Republican Progressive Party(RPP) vice president Lesley Chikuse will be tomorrow, Monday knocking on the doors of the Drug Enforcement Commission(DEC).

Chikuse confirmed that he has an appointment with the DEC public relations office  at 11:00hours in the morning.

He regretted that year-in-year out, the Auditor General Report exposes a lot of public theft but no action is taken on culprits.

He is hopeful that the unscrupulous government officers named in the auditor general report will be dealt with, looking at the good response he got from the ACC.

The Auditor General’s report has disclosed that over 500% public funds have been misappropriated.
