UPND President Hakainde Hichilema has sympathised with the PF Roan Member of Parliament, Dr. Chishimba Kambwili over the recent unruly PF cadres attacks on him while in Mufulira. “Sorry my brother about what the PF cadres did to you during your indoor meeting and attendance of the NDC party meetings in Mufulira, let’s remain strong,” Mr. Hichilema said.

The two leaders who shook hands in affirmative of the wrongdoing by the Patriotic Front leaders were accompanied by People’s Party Leader Mike Mulongoti and Dr Guy Scott to the UPND Lusaka Central constituency petition hearing that which the PF candidate Margrate Mwanakatwe lost but appealed to the Constitutional court. And Dr Chishimba Kambwili stated before the UPND President that he will remain strong further encouraging Mr Hichilema to continue being strong and not give up on the Zambian people.

Last week, unruly PF cadres disrupted the NDC party meeting in Mufulira at which the Roan PF MP was expected to share his political insights and Police later arrested some of the unruly cadres. It was at the same time that Mufulira Deputy Mayor Beatrice Kapansa harassed police officers who wanted to restore normalcy. Beatrice Kapansa is the same PF Deputy Mayor who not long ago had disturbing pictures (nudity) circulating on social media.
