In Life, Nothing Is Permanent: The Case Of Hon Chitotela

MANY years ago, Mr Ronald Chitotela was just a simple police officer. He used to put on that same khaki uniform. He too used to live in a ka small house with red floor polish. He was also looked down upon in the same way society frowns upon police officers today. But despite being just a simple police officer, Mr Chitotela believed in himself and God’s word very much.

He knew that in life, nothing is permanent. Determined to better his life and lots of self-belief, Mr Chitotela worked extremely hard for many years. Before we knew it, Mr Chitotela got himself elected as Pambashe MP in 2001. He later on became Works and Supply Minister as well as Youth and Sport Deputy Minister. Today, Mr Chitotela is Housing and Infrastructure Development Minister. In Isaiah 3:10 (NIV), the Bible says “Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds.

” You see, no matter what’s happening in your life, God wants you to know that it is well with you today! Now you may say, “ It is not well in my finances. I’m struggling. I’m in debt.” That’s okay. It’s not the end. God is still working. Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord your Provider, has breakthroughs coming your way. If all is not well in your health, don’t get discouraged. It’s not the end. God has healing and restoration coming your way. If all is not well in your family or in a relationship, don’t write a child or spouse off.

They may be on the wrong course, but it’s not the end. In the end, God promises all will be well. Remember, our God does not end in defeat. He didn’t say, “Most of the time, I will cause you to triumph.” No, He said, “I will always cause you to triumph.” You may go through difficulties, through unfair situations or through betrayals, but the point is that you are going through. You’re not staying there!

It’s not permanent. Defeat is not your normal state. If all is not well in your life that simply means you haven’t made it to your new destination. Stay in faith, keep declaring His Word and keep moving forward because it is well with you! So, please hold on. Let them laugh. You will be there one day. Ala uyu Lesa tupepa is not a joker. He is a God of miracles. He is great God. Just wait for him, he will take you there.

There’s nothing extra-ordinary about a policeman becoming government minister. And there’s nothing inferior about being a police office. I struggle to find any merit in this your sermon. It’s just poor!

Katambo, Katambo, You have missed the message and real point of this sermon.
The message is ” NO BAD SITUATION IS PERMANENT IF YOU HAVE FAITH AND BRING IT BEFORE YOUR GOD, AND KEEP ON PRAISING HIM ” GOD will always fulfilll His WORD.
He will BLESS YOU> my boy Katambo.
Chitotela is just an example the author gave you.

The author is not only ignorant about the Bible, but he is also ignorant that thieves will not inherit God’s Kingdom. So keep God out of this nonsense where an infrastructure like the Ndola Lusaka Road which under normal circumstances is supposed to cost $750,000pkm is going to cost $3,750,000pkm. Ask yourself, who is one of those who will pocket the $3,000,000pkm? Why is AVIC the only contractor entrusted with all the huge infrastructural contracts you can ever think of? Why is AVIC involved in building houses and malls linked to the masquerades in Government? You have eyes, yet you refuse to open them and see, you have ears, yet you have pushed ear plugs into them so that you do not hear. Ubupuba bwena muleke.

The church, you seem not to know who you are reporting about. Hon chitotela was only a police reserve and never stayed in that kind of a house you described.
