Helicopter To Ferry Trophy To Eventual FAZ Super League Champions Today

The 2017 FAZ Super League champions will receive the trophy just after fulltime regardless of the champions emerging from the Copperbelt or the midlands today.

FAZ will put a helicopter at the halfway point between Ndola and Lusaka on Saturday waiting with the trophy that will be airlifted to the eventual champions after fulltime.

“A helicopter will be on standby at the midway point in Kapiri Mposhi with the trophy that will be flown to the eventual champions after the final whistle,” Zesco media officer Katebe Chengo said.

“So there will be a 30 minute wait for the champions after the match to receive the trophy.”

Zesco will be home at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola where they will face fourth from bottom Mufulira Wanderers whom they beat 2-1 in the first leg.

Zanaco are also home at Sunset Stadium in Lusaka to face Forest Rangers while Buffaloes will be up at Woodlands Stadium where they will host Green Eagles.
