Mtendere residents in Lusaka are living in fear following a gang of young boys who are terrorizing the area.
Mtendere ward 30 councilor Watson Mtonga who has confirmed the incident to phoenix news says the group of boys as young as 14 years old are attacking people as early as 19 hours in the evening, a situation he said has led to people in the area to live in fear.
Mr Mtonga is concerned with the rising crime levels in the area and disclosed that plans are currently underway to use part of the Constituency Development Fund to build a morden police station in addition to the existing one in an effort to curb the high crime levels in the area.
