A 35-year-old man of Chilubi District, Zachariah Mwelwe, has been arrested for allegedly murdering his wife after a domestic dispute.

Northern Province Deputy Police Commissioner, Edwin Bwanga said this to Mano News today and identified the deceased as Muma Charles.

Mr. Bwanga says the incident happened last Saturday in Shishile village between 20:00 and 21:00 hours.

He cautions people of the risks of fighting.

Kicks, fists and unknown objects are said to have been used by the suspect.
