The implementation of the new primary school curriculum is progressing at a snail’s pace especially in rural schools, according to parents in Chitanga, Mungwi District.

Resident Dyness Tongoloshi says the Chitanga’s primary school has no infrastructure for subjects like Information and Communication Technology, or ICT.

In 2014, the Ministry of Education revised the education curriculum in order to improve the provision of education in the country. That improvement is not reaching rural schools.
