Labour Minister Joyce Simukoko says most Zambian workers in the construction industry are been mistreated by their employers due to ignorance of their human rights.
Following a recent revelation were AVIC international was exposed mistreating its employees by serving them food in plastic bags and buckets, Mrs. Simukoko said the bad reading culture among Zambians has also contributed to workers not standing up for their rights in fear of being victimized by their managers.
Speaking on phoenix breakfast this morning, Mrs. Simukoko stressed that no employer is above the law whether local or foreign, adding that exploitation of Zambian workers is being done by both local and foreign employers.

Just say, AVIC is PF’s bread and butter, who can fight them as long as PF remains in power? They will only dance pelete when there is change from illegal to legal GRZ.
