It is practically illogical for any of the citizens to pretend they have not had a glance on the leadership quality in president Hakainde Hichilema.
President Hichilema demonstrated on the National Broadcaster’s ” Sunday Interview” the type of leadership lacking in this country.
Truth be told; Mr Hichilema has no match on Zambia’s political landscape.
His explanation on the UPND’s position on the disputed elections should be sustained by every well meaning Zambian.
Sadly, Justice Minister Given Lubinda decided to mislead himself by insinuating that the presidential petition is not active.
What Lubinda does not understand is that the prima facie case in the right to be heard matter is the presidential petition.
In other words, the right to be heard arises from a realization that our right for a fair hearing was breached.
This is basic law that human beings like Lubinda fail to understand.
In addition to the presidential petition matter, president Hichilema raised election irregularities as a reason for advancing our legal argument in the court of law.
Even in this matter , some PF members seem to project limited scope on very plain and basic arguments that the form GEN 12 which is the results certificate is not a legal document whose absence would nullify an election as illigitimate.
It is on record that Lusaka and copperbelt lacked the form GEN 12 in many polling stations.
We now wonder what was the basis for the publication of election results when ” an exam candidate is given a distinction after running away with an answer script…one asks what was marked for a distinction to be awarded.”
Further, Home Affairs Minister believes there are no Zambian refugees out there.Again, high levels of ignorance have been demonstrated in that some PF members do not know that being a refugee entails running away from your country for fear of being victimized by oppressive leaders.
Some Zambians have opted to seek refuge elsewhere for fear of victimization .
It is also shocking how certain Zambians also fail to understand that a person who is not part of government cannot sell a government property.
It is absolute ignorance to assume president Hichilema became rich during privatization when the people in government have no capacity to produce evidence.
In conclusion, Zambians have seen for themselves what a quality leader is made of.
President Hichilema comes with skills for growing the economy by making social amenities available for all Zambians regardless of their background and ethnicity.
Zambians should accord him an opportunity to prove his skills.
