Looking at the place we where and where we are. I am now beginning to think Zambia should have been just freed from oppression, however the colonialists should have continued ruling. Because I see no sense in ruling ourselves when we are oppressing each other more than they oppressed us, we steal from each other more than they stole from us and we are killing each other through corruption more than they killed us.
We elect leaders expecting them to know our pain and we believe that they can lead us to a better tomorrow, but when they get to the top they abandon us like Cobra snakes do when their eggs hatch except that they don’t do that out of love like snakes do, the PF government was elected into power because the voters thought they knew about the sufferings in our compounds we felt like they were part of us, but not anymore they are screwing us over and they have messed up our economy they have failed to create a conducive environment for proper investment which leads to job creation instead the have brought us Chinese and Lebanese who mistreat us.
I don’t know why we even have a ministry of labour (because it’s just another office with aircon) our only hope for proper employment is a government job at the same time we know government can not employ all of us, so some of us start businesses but contracts are being awarded to themselves the youths of this generation are doomed the only job they know is beer drinking please our leaders take a walk in the compounds and see the poverty in these areas matter of fact it’s not like you don’t know, you do but what are you doing about it?
Instead you would rather make yourselves rich and be surrounded by boot lickers what ideas can they give you? Pull up your socks please do not kill our bedridden country instead let’s cure it together. To my fellow youths we can save ourselves we have the power to decide we are 75% of the population so our voice is the loudest yet silenced let that sink in.
