A Clergy man from Mamba in Siavonga District says job transfers among civil servants have led to below par performance.
Reverend Alfred Kafuko Overseer of the Gweembe Valley Global Gospel Outreach Ministry has explained to Byta FM News that most of his church members and residents have been left wondering regarding these transfers.
Kafuko claims that it is wrong for government to make decisions that separate families without considering how these will affect the unity of marriage.
He says separating families will lead to the weakening of the moral fiber that holds marriages together.
Kafuko adds that it makes no sense that a couple should be separated and transferred to different places across the country as their work input will not be hundred percent as they will be thinking of seeing their families every weekend.
He further adds that there is need for marriages to be strengthened to avoid moral degradation in the country.
He has called on government to reconsider policies that promote such transfers adding that strong families build strong nations.
You have not mentioned some of the Policies. If Im a teacher & my wife is Labour Officer do you think it is easy to transfer all at once? In every employment there are Conditions unless you as Clergyman was not employed while in marriage with a working wife. Suggest to the GVT.
